The hotel has a great and perfect location, somewhere in the area with good transport links. The bets part that it's short walk to the main bar / restaurant, a dual carriageway and Hartlepool marina.

I really enjoyed my time here, especially the fantastic restaurant food and the comfortable suite I stayed in. The sun terrace and garden offered perfect spots to chill out after a day of exploring. The only hiccup was the WiFi being a bit spotty, but it was a nice break from screens anyway! 🌞

Good if you need quick food
I stayed 4 nights. The staff was super friendly, and they delivered food directly to my room, nice. The place is linked to a bar and restaurant, so it was convenient for a quick bite. But the Wi-Fi barely worked was good. It needs some fixes and a fresh look.

Great find for solo travelers
The staff here were helpful when I needed some extra pillows they got them to me in under 5 minutes and the room was nice and spacious making it easy to unwind after a long day
It wasn't dirt cheap let's be honest but it was still acceptable for what I got

The hotel was quite accommodating for our large family with a small dog. The room had a cozy feel, and it was great to have a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly.
In my wife's opinion, the lack of child-friendly amenities made it tough to enjoy our time fully.

We enjoyed exploring the nearby coastal town and relaxing at a local vineyards. The hotel had clean rooms and a cozy atmosphere. Staff was friendly and breakfast was fresh and tasty, worth it for the price!
My only concern was that the dining options felt a bit limited in the evening, and the bar closed quite early. Would recommend planning your meals ahead.

I stayed in a double room at The Windmill, and it had some ups and downs. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. The Wi-Fi barely worked was nice. I had to step outside to get a signal. The restaurant's food was decent, but I found the evening options quite limited and the bar closed early, a bit disappointing. I also noticed some noise from the restaurant filtered into the room, especially during busy hours, disturbing my peace. I enjoyed my experience but hope they improve dining options and connectivity.

The stay was quite convenient for visiting nearby attractions. The room was clean and the staff were accommodating, making us feel welcome during our visit. We especially appreciated the easy access to local dining options, though the evening menu did feel a bit limited. it was a pleasant getaway with a few minor issues that didn't overshadow the enjoyable aspects.
